The Concorde sector is slowly being built. The train station, the park, the district, all under the same name, are taking shape. We are witnessing the de-simulation of an image. Promotors and planners, your dream is becoming a reality. The promoted and planned buildings and furniture will be built there, but will the Concorde, this well-intentioned agreement between people, translate into experiences?
Using the utopian projections of several urban projects as a starting point, we will reflect on the mental images, fantasies, and documents produced by those who have the power to make the future happen.

Laure Bourgault
Laure Bourgault is an artist and Master’s candidate in art history at the Université du Québec à Montréal. Through her research, she aims to shed light on how artists, mystics and art historians have taken advantage of their mental images to thwart logocentric narratives, gain agency and develop experimental methods of knowledge. Interested in the knots linking imagination and politics, she reactivates archival documents in her artistic projects through drawings, videos, installations and performances. Since 2018, she has co-edited the journal Cigale, dedicated to the publication of writings by contemporary artists..
Jean-Philippe Luckhurst-Cartier
Jean-Philippe Luckhurst-Cartier is a multidisciplinary artist who practices action-art from a perspective of mediation, appropriation and historical and everyday drift. The contexts in which he works become, in a way, the primary materials for his works. Whether revealed through found objects, installation, painting or performance, the environments he explores become personal, micro-political or potential reflections of the public and intimate places that inhabit us.
