VCA and MAI are excited to announce a new partnership for their joint support programs, VCA + MAI 2023-2025! As part of the Alliance project, the two organizations are collaborating to offer a residency and paired support to a visual or interdisciplinary artist or collective. The selected applicant will participate in VCA’s biennial 2023-2025 programming, “Trajectory, Planning and Genius Loci”.

This spring, the call for applications will be reissued for this collaboration, which aims to support artists with a focus on inclusion, equity, and representation.

As part of this combined program, the call for applications will be relaunched in the spring of 2023 .

VCA offers the selected artist or collective:

— support for the coordination and promotion of the project
— remuneration in exhibition rights
— participation in the remuneration of technical assistance
— contribution to transportation and travel expenses
— photographic documentation of the project
— an equipment loan

The MAI offers the selected artist or collective:

— personalized support and mentoring for project coordination
— a financial allowance for the development of the project
— opportunities for collective reflection
— access to the MAI rehearsal studios
