Participative performance and artists talk

Verticale — centre d’artistes has invited Stéphanie Nuckle, a Laval-born emerging artist, to participate in the 3rd edition of its Creative Residency Lab.

This year, the centre offers the selected artist member the opportunity to participate in the designation of their mentor. For her residency project, Stéphanie Nuckle invited visual artist Caroline Boileau to act as her mentor. Throughout her residency, the two artists met on a regular basis to explore the neighborhoods of Vimont and Chomedey, in Laval, and to share readings and discussions in preparation for the presentation of Habitat COMMODORE, an ephemeral installation with a participatory performance component.
