L(’)aval d’un futur
L(‘)aval d’un futur is a research, discussion, and activation program. The project is rooted in the Laval territory and questions the cross-temporalities of contemporary urban design and their habitability.
For over a year, a trio of artists have been speculating and infiltrating the construction site of a revitalization project in the sector of the Concorde intermodal station. On this future plot, the virtuality of future buildings temporarily cohabits with the actuality of an ecosystem emerging from the present ruins. L(‘)aval d’un futur brings together human and non-human acolytes to occupy and narrate the dense present that lies somewhere between the plane and the crusts of today’s and yesterday’s habitats. Futur Parc is the troubled archipelago of their encounters.
